TMA (TUESDAY MISSION ASSOCIATION)

Please join the TMA on Tuesdays , 10:30 am - 12:45 pm, for fun, fellowship, crafts.
They meet in Fellowship Hall. Bring a lunch and enjoy the fellowship with the ladies of TMA!

The History of TMA
TMA was started over 60+ years ago by Doris Guy and her youth group.  They made crafts and did projects to raise money to aid Korean Orphans, Christian ministries in Camden and Tansboro Home.  After Doris’ youth group went away to college, she continued her ministry with ladies from the church. Since they met on Tuesdays, they became the Tuesday Mission Association.

The TMA of today makes crafts to sell at their craft fairs. The money they raise goes to purchase TMA supplies.  With these supplies they create holiday decorations, specialty afghans, baby quilts, prayer shawls, helmet liners for our soldiers, and many other items.

As a result, TMA has been able to help Voorhees Pediatric Center, Ronald McDonald House, Ranch Hope, Fellowship House, Veteran Hospital – Vineland, Caring Hearts Ministry, Holy Redeemer Hospice, Lakewood of Voorhees, Good News Home for Women, Innova of Hammonton, Choices of the Heart, Kresson View Nursing Home and many more wonderful organizations.

TMA continues to collect items for the support of our soldiers overseas.  Some of the items for our Service Personnel, include toothbrushes, hard candy, soap, small toiletries, combs, chewing gum, and other items. This is a YEAR-ROUND effort!  Soda can tabs are collected for the Ronald McDonald House and Campbell Soup labels and Box Tops for Education labels are collected for Ranch Hope.
